TECHNICAL / EDIT ASSISTANT
We're on the lookout for an experienced Technical / Edit Assistant.
Duties include:
Authoring DVD reels on Encore / editing mood films, cut-downs, animatics / mastering work to digi & HD Cam / digital archiving of projects & masters / managing the tape library / uploading to FTP & creating QT movies / preparing films & data for our website / converting TGA sequences / beta SP laybacks / FCP support to our studio, directors & producers
Skills
You must have experience in:
Final Cut Pro editing & troubleshooting / Compressor, Sorenson Squeeze / Adobe Encore, Photoshop / Knowledge of different decks & broadcast standards / Compression techniques, codecs & standards conversions / FTP & HTML / Web design / AFX & Flash. Also very useful will be knowledge of Shake & DVD Studio Pro.
You will need solid experience gained in a similar post-production role, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-project post-production house. You will have exacting attention to detail & an incredibly thorough approach to Quality Control & to your work generally.
