Johanna Andersson

Johanna Andersson joined the reknowned Filmtecknarna studio in Stockholm and the Nexus roster in 2005. Since then she has directed the music promo ‘Low Cost’ for Arman Melies, before which she directed a music video for Cdoass ‘Speak to Me’ shortly followed by a second, ‘60 Minutes’ for the band Paris.

Johanna works within a variety of mixed media. Having refined her graphic design skills at the Forsbergs School of Design in Stockholm she designed album artwork before turning her hand to directing. Her collages of illustration and live action come together in her films. Her promo for Swedish band Consequences, ‘Birds are Singing,’ is a testament to this.

Her commercial work includes idents for MTV and spots for Full Tilt, Minute Maid and Swedish project Ursvik.
