Johnny Kelly has created ‘Food’,’Clothing’, and ‘Shelter’ for The Salvation Army for their 2013 Christmas Campaign. Each ad sees coins dropped into The Salvation Army kettle, making the initial darker scenes transform into optimistic scenarios.
Created using stop motion animation, the beautifully-rigged characters and worlds highlight just a few coins can help change people’s lives, take people off the street and give them food, clothing and shelter

Inspired by a Frankensteinian cocktail of W Heath Robinson and Mad Magazine’s ‘Fold Ins’, this series of ads were the perfect opportunity to live out my fanboy fantasies when it
came to animated transitions. When I was little I was hooked by a little wooden lifeboat donation box – you drop a coin in and the lifeboat rocks. I wanted to create something that had the same warmth as this, and a similar immediacy. Without having to drain my parents pocket change…

Nexus are pleased to announce the recent addition of the very talented Emmanuelle Walker to our roster.
Emmanuelle was born in Switzerland and grew up in Montreal, Canada where she studied traditional animation and began her career working across TV series, documentaries, short films and music videos. She moved to Paris to attend the world-renowned animation school Gobelins in 2007, being granted direct admission to the final year. Her work has been screened in many animation festivals around the world.
Her universe is populated by elongated elegant characters. Her talent consists of a deft blend of sophistication and playful quirkiness that renders in her warm and dynamic work.
